A Parent's Love
Before you become a mother, you never really know how much love your heart can hold. The moment I saw my boys' faces for the first time: I felt my face, covered in water...but then I realized I was crying. I didn't even have time to think about myself and the fact that I was crying. My heart was so full; and for the first time in my life someone else's well being came before my own...almost involuntarily. As phenomenal as this feeling is as an imperfect parent, can you imagine how GREAT God's perfect love is for us...His children? You see, God not only created love but it's WHO HE IS. There is literally NOTHING that my boys could do to make me love them any less...NOTHING. God feels the same about us, about YOU. Check this out: "Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, Who loved us. For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced--beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:35, 37-39 So when you look into your child's eyes tonight, or maybe the next time that you feel completely alone and unloved...KNOW THAT YOU ARE LOVED with the "unlimited love of God". Loved no matter what. NO MATTER WHAT. <3 ~Whitney
